Campgrounds & RV Parks
In 2014 we stayed at several RV Parks and Campgrounds that were outstanding and for our list of the Best RV Parks in Texas and the Best Campgrounds in Texas.  Some of our new additions included (the links will go to our reviews):

Texas Golf Courses
We spent way too much time golfing, too much money on Advil, golf balls, my drink losses, and new golf equipment that didn't help my game.  The good news was that I brought home enough sand to build a sand box for the grand kids!  We discovered lots of courses that made our list of the the Most Scenic Golf Holes In Texas, Best Public Courses, and Best Private Texas Courses.  Some of the courses added to those lists this year included:
  • Boot Ranch - Fredericksburg - how can you beat that hole pictured above
  • Max A. Mandel - Laredo - the Max opened last year and quickly received lots of accolades including Top 100 You Can Play by Golf Magazine and Best Municipal Course in the US by Golfweek
  • Crystal Falls Golf Club - Cedar Park - surprising elevation changes, challenging, fun, and great rates
  • Cordillera Ranch - Boerne - wow!
  • Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs - New Braunfels - a $7 million renovation turned this into a fun and memorable course

We also added or updated several of our Golf Resort Reviews and Stay & Play Reviews and we added the Best Courses in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.

New & Exciting Fun Stuff
We added a lot of new pages loaded with fun things to see and do in Texas, some of which included:

We also added some new articles to Thank God For Weekends, Weekend Adventures, and Fun Vacations.

Thanks For Your Support & For Visiting TexasOutside.com

The first two months of 2015 have set new traffic records and we anticipate that 2015 will be another record year with over 3 million visitors, over 127 lost golf balls, a new bike, way too many margaritas and good Mexican food, a couple new frisbees, and at least 8 new tires and very high gas bills for the boat, RV, Jeep, and SUV.

Let us know about your fun adventures and new discoveries.  Have a great year!  Get Outside!
