Scott co-founded GovDelivery in a Saint Paul basement in 2000. From there, the company grew to 250 professionals across four offices in the U.S. and Europe. After he sold GovDelivery in 2016, the 41-year old co-founded a new company, Structural, earlier this year. Learn about Scott's business success story, and his involvement in the

2.       What aspects do you find the most beneficial?
Networking, educational programming, the directory links to the website. connection to other businesses and the fun people, events & programs. 
 
3.       Do you have any Chamber moment which is especially memorable?
 The Annual Celebrations are ALWAYS memorable! Attending Lunch on the Avenue and supporting businesses during the construction of the Green Line.  It was awesome to fill the restaurant with chamber members. 
 
4.      How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

 Being a St. Paul tourist by attending Saints baseball games, enjoying many of the wonderful restaurants St. Paul has to offer. For sports I enjoy golf in the summer and bowling in the winter.

How long have  you been a member of the Midway Chamber of  Commerce?
Midpointe Event Center has been a member for 7 years. Dancers Studio has been a member in the past. 

What aspect of being a member do you find the most beneficial?
As a member of the Midway Chamber of Commerce, we find it very beneficial to create business relationships, engage in community engagement while staying abreast of topics important to our community, especially those specific to the Midway area.  There is always the social and fun aspect to the Chamber as well!

Why did you decide to join the Ambassador Committee?
As an Ambassador. I have the opportunity to meet and engage new members.  Sharing information about programs and events that the Chamber offers and demonstrating how this can help their organization grow is very rewarding.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, networking in the community, attending concerts and sporting events, doing yoga and anything outside!

Ambassador Mission:
To welcome new members to the Chamber, to encourage new member participation in networking and promotion opportunities, and to represent the Chamber at community functions and new business openings.

Ambassador Commitment
As the public relations arm of the Midway Chamber of Commerce, Ambassadors are often the first contact for new and prospective members.  Encouraged to select the most effective activities to meet their personal and professional objectives.  All of the activities can be conveniently worked into your schedule.

  • Greeters and Table Hosts at Monthly Membership Luncheons -
  • Delivery of membership packets that are distributed to new and renewing members.
