Canby Farm Loop.
Fall is well-known for many things
—football, sweaters and pumpkin spiced-everything
—but did you know it is an ideal time for planting? If you're looking to incorporate some native plants or perennials into a display garden, this is the time of year to be doing so.
Bosky Dell Natives on the
Farmlandia Farm Loop is a great place to look around. Located in a beautiful natural setting at the foot of Pete's Mountain, Bosky Dell has over 300 species of native northwest plants, not to mention historical treasures and natural features. A favorite place for school groups and natural plant enthusiasts!
Another favorite is
Out in the Garden Nursery on the
Molalla Country Farm Loop. With perennials and ornamental grasses for sun or shade, this nursery is all about helping you figure out what plants will work best for your garden. As an added bonus, they have a petting zoo featuring friendly goats.
Meet Sassy & Her Friends!
Ever seen a baby Mediterranean Miniature Donkey in the flesh? Well, now is your chance! This beauty to the left, Sassy, lives on Tollen Farmon the Farmlandia Farm Loop. You can see (and feed) her and her buddies on this charming, eco-friendly small farm. In addition you can view the century-old farmhouse, and take a stroll through the mature orchards and pastures complete with Arabian horses, a fluffy llama, and--of course--a herd of Mediterranean Donkeys.
