Member Statements will be available online the last week of February and will also be mailed in batches to Members' homes, arriving between late February and mid March. 

Reviewing your Member Statement for accuracy is very important. For details about what information is provided in your Member Statement and why reviewing it is important, please click here.

Please note: Starting in 2021 Member Statements will be available online only and will no longer be mailed. A Member Access account will be required for viewing online Member Statements.

The Member Statement mailed to you in February/March will contain a registration key you can use to create an online Member Access account, if you do not already have one.

Member Statements will be available for viewing or downloading in Member Access starting the last week in February. 

To view your Member Statement, log in to Member Access. After you log in, there will be an alert at the top of your Member Access home page directing you to your Member Statement.

Preliminary 2019 Investment Returns & Funded Status
IMRF had strong investment returns in 2019. Here are some of the financial highlights.

IMRF:

  • made 19.76% in investment returns in 2019, after portfolio management fees.

  • has $44.6 billion in assets.

  • is 91% funded on an actuarial basis.

The strong return this year will help lower employer contribution rates and save money for local taxpayers in future years.

Your Glass is Half Full: Understanding Your IMRF Benefits
For IMRF members under 40, if you want to better understand the nature of IMRF and why you are making contributions, this workshop is for you! An IMRF Field Representative will explain how your pension is funded, your benefits as an IMRF member, and the importance of having more than one savings vehicle as you prepare for your eventual retirement.
