(RUBRIC)

RUBRIC was created to assist Maryland's technology companies that have been detrimentally impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and associated economic downturn. TEDCO will make awards of up to $100K through the RUBRIC program to help bridge companies across the economic downturn associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Pre-Seed Builder Fund invests in and provides executive support to Maryland-based technology companies run by entrepreneurs who demonstrate economic disadvantage. The Builder Fund invests with the goal of helping companies reach meaningful milestones and becoming attractive investments to larger institutional investors. 

Up to $200K investments made.

Applications assessed on rolling basis.

Assists start-up and small technology-based businesses in the rural areas of Maryland to advance the company to a higher level of success. The program offers professional ongoing mentoring, business and technology assistance, and targeted funding and pre-seed investments.

We work alongside our entrepreneurs as partners to drive the next wave of startups. We leverage our diverse operating and investing experience to uncover opportunities to add value throughout the life cycle of our portfolio companies. Our goal is to meaningfully contribute to the greatest shared outcomes.

An early-stage, evergreen venture capital fund dedicated to funding and growing the next generation of outstanding businesses in Maryland.

Up to $750K investments made.

Applications assessed on rolling basis.

Accelerating to market promising technologies with significant commercial potential from five Maryland academic research institutions:
  • Johns Hopkins University
  • Morgan State University
  • University of Maryland, Baltimore
  • University of Maryland, Baltimore County
  • University of Maryland, College Park
(MSCRF)

Accelerating human stem cell-based research and cures through grants to public and private entities in the State.

MSCRF offers six programs (Launch, Discovery, Validation, Commercialization, Clinical and Post-doctoral Fellowships).
