DOI BLM Nevada Cultural and Paleontological Resources Management L22AS00248 - $10,000 to $40,000 - Deadline: May 9, 2022, 5:00pm ET

This program seeks to establish partnerships that collaboratively encourage the public to learn about and engage with heritage resources in Nevada, with the goals of building a meaningful conservation stewardship legacy through expanding recreation opportunities on public lands, working to ensure meaningful consultation and self-determination for Tribes, enhancing visitor experience on public lands by better meeting our infrastructure and maintenance needs, and eliminating unnecessary steps and duplicative reviews while maintaining rigorous environmental standards.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

Submit proposals to deliver workplace safety and health training to eligible employers and workers on the topic of infectious diseases, including COVID-19. Grant activities support conducting training on infectious diseases, including COVID-19 in a timely and efficient manner. Therefore, grantees must initially begin using existing training materials and guidance documents in order to deliver training as soon as practical following award. During the performance period, grantees may develop and use new tailored training materials (following OSHA approval of the new materials).

National Institutes of Health (NIH)
NIH Centers of Excellence in Genomic Science (RM1 Clinical Trial Optional) PAR-22-107 - Up to $1,500,000 - Deadline: Letter of Intent 05/11/2022 and Proposal 06/22/2022

The Centers of Excellence in Genomic Science (CEGS) program establishes academic Centers for advanced genome research. Each CEGS award supports a multi-investigator, interdisciplinary team to develop integrated, transformative genomic approaches to address a biomedical problem. A CEGS project will address a critical issue in genomic science, genomic medicine, or computational genomics, proposing a highly innovative solution that would be a major advance. The research will entail substantial risk, balanced by outstanding scientific and management plans and very high potential payoff. A CEGS will focus on the development of novel technological or computational methods for the production or analysis of comprehensive data sets, on a genome-scale biomedical problem, or on other ways to develop and use genomic approaches for understanding biological systems or furthering the application of genomic knowledge, data, and methods towards clinical applications. Each CEGS will nurture genomics by facilitating the interaction of investigators from several disciplines. Along with its scientific goals, CEGS will also expand the pool of genomic scientists and engineers that can use and apply the novel methods, concepts, and knowledge developed by the CEGS by providing education and outreach experiences to scientists at all career levels.
