Build a firm foundation for a lifetime of contributions to research and education in the context of the Principal Investigator's organization. The proposed project should aim to advance the employee's career goals and job responsibilities as well as the mission of the department or organization.
Department of Defense (DoD) Autism Research Program, Career Development Award - Deadline: 08/05/2021 - NTE $500,000.

Supports early-career, independent investigators and/or the transition of established investigators from other research fields to conduct innovative, high-impact ideas or early-phase, proof-of-principle clinical trials with the potential to have a major impact on ASD.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) ROSES 2021: Planetary Science Early Career Award - Deadline: 12/08/2021 - $200,000.

Supports the professional development of outstanding early-career scientists in areas relevant to the Planetary Science Division (PSD). Support from this program will allow promising individuals to play an increasing and meaningful role in the planetary science community.
Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Foundation (SAEM Foundation) SAEMF/Academy for Women in Academic Emergency Medicine (AWAEM) Research Grant - Deadline: 08/01/2021 - $5,000

Support one early career investigator (fellow, instructor, or assistant professor during the award period) who wishes to address a research question in line with the core ideology of the Academy of Women in Academic Emergency Medicine. All applicants should be board certified in Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine board eligible during the award period.

Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Invites Applications for Innovative Research (To provide support for the next generation of exceptionally creative thinkers with high-risk/high-reward ideas that have the potential to significantly impact the understanding of and/or approaches to the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of cancer.) Applications due July 1, 2021 - $200,000 a year for two years, with an opportunity for up to two additional years (up to four years for $800,000 total)
Sigma Theta Tau Invites Applications for Evidence-Based Practice Implementation (To encourage nurses in clinical settings to apply evidence to practice and evaluate the effects on patient outcomes. The proposed project may be inter-professional in design but must be nurse-led.) Applications due July 1, 2021 - $20,000 over 18 months
