The Nevada INBRE and UNR’s Research & Innovation office are seeking applicants for Scientific Core Service Awards to foster your research, publications, and grants!
Services can be requested from
Applicants may request services from one or multiple cores. A total maximum of $5000 can be requested and the maximum funding for Proteomics and/or Genomics Cores is $2000. Note, you must consult and receive a quote from core(s) providing the requested services. If you are looking for services not provided by any of the cores within NV, please reach out to the NV INBRE Data Science Core to inquire resources within the RAIN (Regional Alliance of INBRE Networks).
Applications must be received by Thursday December 2, 2021 at 11:59 PM. All INBRE awards must be utilized by March 31, 2021, extension will not be possible. Additional award opportunities will be available again in April and August 2022.
Highlighted services include but not limited to:
- NGS library preparation from genomes, exomes, transcriptomes, and methylomes using Illumina
- Quantitative proteomics using both label-free (e.g., DIA, spectral counting) and isobaric labelling (TMT) methodologies and data analyses
- Experimental design, sequencing, and bioinformatics analyses of 16S microbiome projects
- Pathway analysis for human, mouse, or rat via iPathwayGuide (iPG), for other organisms please consult with the NBC
- (Multi) Omics data analysis
- Custom workshops, please consult with the NBC
