Amyloidosis Foundation Research Grants Program

To support basic and clinical research of junior research scientists whose research targets the challenges in the field of amyloidosis.
National Ataxia Foundation Seed Money Research Grants

Letters of Intent Due: September 21, 2020 - Up to $50,000

In support of new and innovative studies that are relevant to the cause, pathogenesis, or treatment of hereditary or sporadic ataxias.
Federal Opportunities
Rural Placemaking Innovation Challenge (RPIC): RD-RPIC-2020

Closing Date: September 10, 2020 - Up to $250,000

Technical assistance for placemaking (planning and/or implementation) to create places where people want to live, work and play. Funds can be used to help rural communities access planning resources to develop actionable placemaking plans, convene partners, identify community needs, and implement priorities to build rural prosperity.
Water Reclamation and Reuse Research Projects: BOR-DO-20-F009

Closing Date: October 7, 2020 - Up to $50,000

To address water supply challenges by establishing or expanding the use of water reclamation and reuse, improving existing water reuse facilities, and/or streamlining the implementation of state-of-the-art technology for new facilities.
Inspire! Grants for Small Museums (2021): IGSM-FY21

Closing Date: November 16, 2020 - Up to $50,000

Special initiative of the Museums for America program. It is designed to help small museums implement projects that address priorities identified in their strategic plans.

Emerging Mechanisms of Action in the Treatment of Moderate-to-Severe Alopecia Areata

Intent to support education programs for dermatologists to increase the awareness and understanding of moderate-to-severe (M2S) alopecia areata, as well as the emerging mechanisms of action in the treatment of this disease.
PARP-inhibitor Combination Treatments in Prostate Cancer
Application Due Date: 10/14/2020 - Link to Full RFP
Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on:
  • Increasing understanding of the rationale for PARPi combinations as potential treatments for prostate cancer
  • Increasing understanding of patient selection/identification for potential treatment with PARPi combinations for prostate cancer 
  • Increasing understanding of ongoing clinical trial design exploring PARPi combinations in prostate cancer

Projects focusing on PARPi combinations with androgen receptor targeted therapies are of high interest.
Remote Mentoring Programs in RCC

Support academic institutions or professional societies interested in using the Project ECHO model to provide education and support to community oncologists caring for patients with RCC.
