The Nevada INBRE and UNR’s Research & Innovation office are seeking applicants for Scientific Core Service Awards to foster your research, publications, and grants!
 
Applicants may request services from one or multiple cores. A total maximum of $5000 can be requested and the maximum funding for Proteomics and/or Genomics Cores is $2000. Note, you must consult and receive a quote from core(s) providing the requested services. 

Applications must be received by Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 11:59 PM. Awards must be utilized by September 30, 2021. (In special circumstances an extension can be granted, but must be requested in writing by August 31, 2021.) Additional award opportunities will be available again in August and December. DoD Research and Education Program for HBCU/MSI's - W911NF-19-S-0013 Proposals Due: 04/30/2021 4:00pm ET
 
Conduct research in the area of Biotechnology at an established Center of Excellence (CoE). The HBCU or MI with the most
technically acceptable proposal may be awarded a Cooperative Agreement with a performance period not to exceed five years. The anticipated funding level will not exceed $1.5 million per year. The Center, led by the Principal Investigator (PI), will be expected to conduct collaborative research within the proposing HBCU/MI and with one other institution of higher education (IHE), defined below, and with involvement of scientists (Cooperative Agreement Managers) from the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). A sub award to the collaborating IHE partner is limited to no more than 40 percent of the annual budget. Learn More

SULI and CCI offer undergraduates opportunities to conduct research or technical projects, respectively, at DOE National Laboratories and facilities under the mentorship of laboratory staff scientists and engineers.
