Application Deadline: July 01, 2022
The Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites R61/R33 applications to address health equity, drug costs, and access to new therapeutics or repurposed drugs for Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Alzheimer's disease-related dementias (ADRD). Successful applications will seek to identify preferences for pharmacological treatment among racial and ethnic minority people living with AD/ADRD, assess whether cost barriers to pharmacological care exist for racial and ethnic minority people living with AD/ADRD, and quantify expenditures and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among people interested in receiving novel or repurposed drugs for AD/ADRD.
This FOA supports a study development phase (R61) to conduct rigorous stakeholder engagement with racial and ethnic minority groups to identify, measure, and assess the demand for new and repurposed drugs. If successful, grantees will transition to an R33 phase for implementation of rigorous modeling of costs and health-related quality of life and dissemination of model findings.

-
Accelerator Stewardship program, which supports cross-disciplinary teams to solve high impact problems confronting the country, and
-
Accelerator Development program, which is aimed at strengthening domestic suppliers of accelerator technology.
Together, these programs support basic research and development (R&D), use-inspired R&D, and supply chain resiliency by fostering stronger collaboration between the academic research community and the domestic private sector.
Research funded by the Accelerator Stewardship program aims to uncover innovative solutions to technological barriers that inhibit the use of accelerator technology, provide the fundamental building blocks of new technological advances, and facilitate access to DOE accelerator R&D capabilities. R&D teams are expected to combine interdisciplinary expertise across technologies (e.g., accelerator and medical technologies) and across sectors (e.g., national laboratories, universities, and industry).
Research funded by the Accelerator Development program aims to reduce supply chain risks in accelerator technologies needed for next-generation scientific facilities and for industrial applications. Partnerships between the public and private sector will be funded to strengthen the accelerator technology capabilities of domestic industry, with a focus on strengthening production capabilities, and enhancing knowledge and technology transfer.

Proposal Deadline: May 23, 2022
The National Science Foundation (NSF), in partnership with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Department of Defense (DOD), seek proposals for the development of on-line training modules designed to promote the understanding of research security for researchers and other key personnel whose work is supported by federally funded research awards at awardee organizations.
Scientific research is critical to America's ability to sustain its position as an innovation leader, to sustain economic growth, as well as to support national security in our science and technology (S&T) enterprise. Strengthening the security and integrity of our nation's S&T research enterprise is an effort that relies on the awareness and cooperation of all stakeholders.
The purpose of this modular training is to enhance awareness and to help provide recipients of federal research funding with on-line training on the existing and emerging risks and threats to the global research ecosystem — and the knowledge and resources necessary to protect against such risks and threats. This training is intended to be an important component to securing federally funded research, while maintaining the current, open, and transparent global research ecosystem.
