Start-Up Essentials
We encourage start-ups (one year in business or less) to take this LEADING EDGE series of four webinars: Launching Essentials, Marketing Essentials, Cash Flow Essentials and Business Plan Essentials (putting it all together). Entrepreneurs with a completed flexible business plan are more likely to succeed past the start-up phase. Takes place four Thursdays in a row, starting January 21, 6PM - 9PM.

The program encourages businesses to implement safety measures beyond what is already required by public health orders and guidelines that will help slow the spread of COVID-19. In doing so, businesses will be able to accelerate their reopening. Depending on where their county falls on the COVID-19 dial, certified businesses are eligible for less restrictive capacity caps. Arapahoe County has been approved through the CDPHE.  Consistent with the State of Colorado program requirements, businesses applying to the program will need to meet General Business requirements for certification. In addition, there are industry-specific requirements businesses will need to follow. Click the button on the right for details and the application portal for Arapahoe County businesses.

The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the U.S. Treasury Department, will re-open the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan portal to PPP-eligible lenders with $1 billion or less in assets for First and Second Draw applications on Friday, January 15th, 7AM. The portal will fully open on Tuesday, January 19th to all participating PPP lenders to submit First and Second Draw loan applications to SBA. Visit www.SBA.gov/PPP for details on both draws.
To apply for the NEW Targeted EIDL Advance (grant), please visit sba.gov/coronavirusrelief to learn more about eligibility requirements and how to access the next round of EIDL Advance funds (info forthcoming).
