National Philanthropy Day is a special day to recognize and pay tribute to the individuals, organizations and businesses who generously give their time, talents and resources for the enrichment and benefit of our communities. This year, the AFP Santa Barbara Ventura Counties will join chapters across the country to celebrate the giving spirit and exemplary leaders of our philanthropic community.
First held locally in 1987, National Philanthropy Day recognizes the great contributions of philanthropy- and those people active in the philanthropic community who have enriched our world. It also provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible.
Join this years’ Honorees and 200 of our area’s nonprofit leaders and AFP colleagues at the Museum of Ventura County’s outdoor Plaza at 5pm on November 10 for a hosted reception with hors d’oeuvres catered by Peirano’s. Everyone will head inside to the Martin V. and Martha K. Smith Pavilion for the ceremony at 6pm, led by Anne Paul King and Geoff Green, who will introduce the event sponsors and give each honoree time at the podium. It is an inspirational, uplifting, and fun evening not to be missed!
Congratulations to our 2022 Honorees!
