Enhanced Public Health Orders
Yesterday the Government of Alberta announced new measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19. These can be found here and will be in place until Dec 15th at which time the Government of Alberta will reevaluate the plan base on results from these measures.
We understand many people have many questions, please be patient as our management team seeks clarity and guidance from the Chief Medical Office. We will update our website and social media as information becomes available. We are also sending out communication via the email address you have on your Court Reserve account.
Halloween Fun!
Hello Goblins and Ghouls,
It was a very scary Halloween week at The Tennis Academy.
Although, we could not host our annual "Marin Cens Murder Mystery production", we did host a Covid-safe week-long event with games and a best costume contest. There were so many funny and creative costumes, it was hard to pick the winners. Congrats to the following:

  • Andrew Marin โ€“ Andrei Agassi
  • Lordes Han (Lourdes had a different costume for each day!!!)
  • Andrew Shouli (Mary Poppins)
  • Vera/Joshua Wing (Cookie & Donut with milk)
  • Sophie Murray (Harlequin)
  • Dani Auger (Hot Dog)
  • Kingsley Hutton-Coats (Quidditch Player).

We all look forward to an equally exciting Halloween celebration next year ๐Ÿ˜Š
Who will reign Supreme?
Movember!
Just a few days left, and we are halfway to our goal of raising $500 for men's health.

Jeff is growing a gnarly beard, Karen and her dog are doing the "Move for Movember Challenge" and Brandon (our newest Front Desk staffer) is currently kicking both of their butts in the fundraising category. Jeff, who is in last place for funds raised needs to channel some Tom Brady type of magic if wants to achieve the Supreme Fundraiser title.
Care to sponsor one or all of our Fundraisers and support men's health? Just click this link. All donations are appreciated, big and small.
A Message from Doug...
Remember all players you book with will need to have a Court Reserve Account. You can no longer input guest players in your booking. If you need to setup an account go please do so online or contact the front desk. Setting up an account takes less than 5 minutes and it enables you to book courts, register for programs, and play at The Tennis Academy. If you canโ€™t find your friends name in the system they probably need to setup an account. Questions, contact the Front Desk

We Just Had To Brag...
When the Provincial Government disallowed indoor fitness programs on Nov 13th due to Covid restrictions, Angelina and Sonia scrambled to put together virtual fitness programs, allowing kids in our competitive programs to continue to work toward their fitness goals.
They are providing such fun and intense workouts for kids at home that some parents are also joining in. They even coordinated their outfits. These girls are seriously making us proud!
