Due to your feedback and demand and our observation of the landscape, we will continue to offer resources to support fundraising efforts for Congregations in our community. We are planning three seminars in the upcoming year: one for the Greater Boston area and two across the state. We are fortunate that Rabbi Herb Tobin has volunteered his services to lead these seminars. Herb Tobin is a highly respected, long-time fundraising consultant and educator. A former chief development officer of Hillel International and several Boston medical centers, Herb is a cofounder of Yeshiva University's certificate program/course in Jewish philanthropy. Be on the look out for details and registration opportunities.
For those interested in a more intensive deep-dive into the subject of fundraising, I invite you to consider Herb Tobin's online course. Information and a sample module can be found at www.yu.edu/jewishphilanthropy. The nine module course covers topics such as: The Culture of Philanthropy, Annual Campaign, Major Gifts, Engaging Volunteers, Employing Digital Media, Approaching Foundations, Event Planning, and Women's Philanthropy. Herb has agreed to make a generous amount of scholarship funds available for those who enroll in the online course. If you have any questions you can contact Herb directly at email@example.com or 781-864-2246.
Thank you for your ongoing engagement and connection.
