Parish Website Upgrades
We want to help you communicate the vitality
of your congregation.

The parish website is an irreplaceable tool for evangelization. Many parishes in our diocese have recently created new sites or upgraded to responsive templates - a necessity  if folks want to view your site on their phones or tablets.  A recent article in the fall  fall edition of Abundant Times fleshed out some of the important aspects of website development for congregations (see pages 16-17). The advent of simple drag-and-drop platforms like Weebly, SquareSpace and WIX allow complete creative control and access for less that $100 per year!  A simple, welcoming, beautiful website can help people find their way to your community. It's never been so important or easier to do.

Here's some really good news: THERE'S MONEY!

Steve Abdow, Canon for Mission Resources, has allocated funds in the 2016 Diocesan budget for parish website development.  We will match you dollar for dollar up to $500 dollars, and this effort is retroactive.  If you've redesigned or created a parish website in 2016, you can send copies of your receipts to Diocesan House and we will cover ½ of the expense you incurred, up to $500.
Need some assistance or just another set of eyes?

I am happy to do a parish website audit, at your request, to give you a sense of how your website is meeting the challenges of ministry in the 21st century.  Many have requested this already and it's been a wonderful opportunity for me to get to know the parish ethos. If this is something you'd like to do,  contact me and we'll make arrangements.

Easter joy and hope,
Vicki
