We regret to inform you that Harry Mazian is at rest in the Lord. He passed away peacefully on September 29th.
The wake for Harry (Harootiun) will be Friday, October 7th from 4-9pm with a Dan Gark (Requiem) service at 8pm;
at Sheehy Funeral Home, 9000 151st. St., Orland Park, IL.
On Saturday morning October 8th, there will be a wake from 9-10am at Sts. Joachim and Anne Armenian Church, 12600 South Ridgeland Ave., Palos Heights, IL 60463. The church service will begin at 10am, followed by interment at Chapel Hill cemetery in Alsip.
Our condolences to his wife Lucy, children Gary (and Patty) Mazian and Linda (and David) Slee, to his brother Greg Hakalmazian, and to all their family and friends. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with them all.
In lieu of lowers the family requests donations be made to Sts. Joachim and Anne Church, with the memo: Mazian ACEF Fund. The sole benefactor of the Mazian ACEF fund (
Armenian Church Endowment Fund) will be Sts. Joachim and Anne Armenian Apostolic Church.
