Progress at Alston Ridge Greenway

Progress continues on the Alston Ridge Greenway! Stone base (the material that goes under asphalt) has been placed along the trail. Boardwalk installation will begin next, followed by paving.

The project will also feature an environmental lookout area for visitors to enjoy views of the surrounding area.

When complete, the greenway will connect Alston Ridge Park (6850 Hilltop-Needmore Road Extension) to Bass Lake Park in Holly Springs.

The greenway is currently anticipated to be completed by fall 2026.
