Putts for Paws helps animals like Leo!

Without our community's support, we wouldn't be able to help animals like Leo find their happy ending. After being severely neglected by his former owner, Leo came to us through a partnership with the awesome folks at Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue. They guided him through his initial recovery and then reached out to our Humane Society to continue his care and find him a wonderful home across the river. After hearing what he had been through, there was no way we could say no to this handsome fellow and we are thrilled that we were able to help him find his ideal home!

His new human tells us "Leo is such a great dog and I'm so happy to have him in my life. I hope the pictures and the update make you smile like he does for me."

Another way to help

All month long, stop by Williams Food Equipment where 100% of the proceeds from their knife and scissor sharpening services in September will be donated to the Humane Society to help animals in need! They're located at 2150 Ambassador Drive, Windsor, and open weekdays from 9am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm.
