Huge yard sale Saturday, 10/28 6:30am! Ryan Holzwarth is doing his Eagle Scout Project for Furnishing Dignity. There will be tons of amazing things to purchase, while supporting two great causes! Ryan will use the funds raised to purchase dressers from IKEA Tempe, put them together (we know how much fun that is!), and donate them for our youth aging out of foster care and individuals/families transitioning from homelessness, helping to make a house into a home.

Volunteer! Donate! Attend! Address is 4502 E. Cathedral Rock Drive, Phoenix 85044. Questions or for more info contact anitab@furnishingdignity.org. Hope to see you there!

 NEW PARTNERSHIP!
We are continuing to develop and expand our partnership with Patrick Peterson from the Arizona Cardinals. Patrick has his own Foundation, the Patrick Peterson Foundation for Success, where he donates books, cozy corners, and a mural to libraries in Title 1 schools. He is now doing something similar for Furnishing Dignity, for one family each month for 5 months. He provides bean bag chairs for each child in the family, a nice throw rug, and an amazing bookcase filled with books to encourage the love of reading and increase literacy in our communities.

Check out his video with one of our families. Are those two little boys cute or what?! We assisted the family by providing a household of furniture, and Patrick provided the reading corner. Watch for more pictures to come.
