Event Description : The FuseDSM Non-Profit Forum is a group of members representing non-profits and associations who meet monthly for two hours to discuss issues impacting their organization, creating a larger unified impact on members of our community.

Riverwalk Rendezvous Under the Canopy

Zoo Brew
The camels aren’t the only ones celebrating hump day at Blank Park Zoo! Every Wednesday in the summer, the Zoo comes to life after hours for those 21 and over. This popular fundraising event features a variety of live music and summer brews all while enjoying the animals! When you buy a brew, you support the Zoo! Each Wednesday features a different band!

Rendezvous on Riverview
Started in 2009 with a grant from Polk County, the Highland, Oak and Union Park neighborhood organizations worked together to create this fun, family-oriented neighborhood festival. Our Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public. 
We feature live music from some of Central Iowa's best bands. Lots of food and beverage options including beer, soft drinks, walking-tacos, hot-dogs, snacks and much more. Check out our EVENTS CALENDAR for the concert lineup.

Exceeding Customer Expectations for Leaders
We know that every employee is responsible for providing above and beyond service, but it is leaders who set the tone in creating a customer-focused organization. When leaders are focused on developing a culture of service, the organization, employees, and customers succeed and thrive.  
In this session, participants will:  
  • Clarify the importance of service to the continued success of their organization 
  • Explore the organization’s service vision and the part they play in making the vision a reality 
  • Implement a four-step strategy to exceed customer expectations 
  • Recognize the role of all employees as customer service providers 
  • Explore the role of the leader in creating a culture of service excellence 
  • Identify potential obstacles and actions needed with their teams
