UTHealth Pre-Health Professions Conference

The ODI, in partnership with the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) MMS chapter, hosted the first UTHealth-wide  Pre-Health Professions Conference recently on Saturday, March 4, 2017.   Representatives from all six UTHealth schools (McGovern Medical School, School of Dentistry, School of Nursing, School of Public Health, School of Biomedical Informatics and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences) came to promote their programs!  We had an amazing turnout with over 100 college students from very diverse backgrounds come from all over Texas.

Black History Month Program

In collaboration with the Student National Medical Association, ODI commemorated Black History Month with the Annual Black History Month Program on Monday, February 6th.

Attendees were treated to musical selections from special guests and a poignant address - Celebrating the Impact of African Americans in Medicine - by our distinguished keynote speaker, Dr. Gavin Davis.
