After such a close call on losing our right for Lapse of Time Evictions, we met with key legislators and advocates and made a decision.

We must go all-in to defending property rights.

There is no alternative.

There are many different advocate groups working to defend tenants but in fact they are protecting bad tenants and making it harder on the good tenants so we must get this message out there.

Legislators do not understand rental housing, property management or even property maintenance and we know the vast majority of housing providers are good people.

Attempts to pass legislators are impacting an entire industry when in fact their focus should be on just the BAD ACTORS, NOT EVERYONE.

To expand our ability we have started a fundraising campaign to use new technology to reach those landlords in Housing Court and those recently purchasing Multi-Family properties.

CRM Software, AI generated phone calls and database acquisition are underway. Funding for increased lobbying and advocacy activities is also earmarked in the campaign.

Our next step is to bring in paid solicitors to raise funds for our Political Action Committee and target some legislators that have been hostile to our industry
