Our Smile Squad is Growing
Meet Dr. Milan Montero! She joined our Future Smiles family last February as our Public Health Dentist. Dr. Montero helps to provide much needed dental care to CCSD students and siblings within Clark County, expanding our impact at the Dental Wellness Center. Learn more about Dr. Montero below:
What makes you smile?
"Trying new cuisines always puts a smile on my face. I am happiest when I am enjoying fresh seafood or homemade pasta."

How do you spread smiles?
"During my free time, I enjoy baking for others, planning surprises, and making balloon animals!"

An Investment in Tomorrow's Smiles
We were all smiles after receiving a $400,000 grant from the Engelstad Foundation to support dental education, prevention, and restorative health care to local at-risk youth in Southern Nevada.

The Protect Our Smiles Grant will help Future Smiles serve 6,000 at-risk children, from toddlers to teens, during the 2020-21 school year.
 
“Having access to dental care is essential for overall health, especially for youth,” said Kris Engelstad McGarry, Trustee of the Engelstad Foundation. “Children in underserved parts of the Las Vegas Valley need this care to maintain school attendance and an active lifestyle. By investing in Future Smiles, we are supporting vital dental services and education to those who need it most.”
