APPNA/ICNA Relief Efforts

APPNA/ICNA Relief mobile clinic free community health fair partnering with office of Assemlbywomen Jennifer Rajkumar (district 38) in Jamaica, Queens, NY.
Free health screenings and services included blood pressure, blood sugar, lipid panel, COVID 19 vaccines appointments and health resources.
On-site physician consultation was provided by
Several uninsured participants were referred to local free Medical Clinic in Queens for abnormal test results for further follow up and treatment.
All participants were very thankful to ICNA Relief and APPNA for providing these valuable services for their community.

APPNA/ICNA Relief Mobile Clinic partnered with Center for Islamic Teachings and Community Development to provide a free community health fair at the Community Center of Harvey, IL.
The clinic had a great turnout, thanks to its many attendees and volunteers.
Dr Shakra suhail, pharmacist Dr. Hadia Alhalabi, Nurse practitioner Samir Vohra, RN Humairaa Vhora and 2 Medical students also Volunteered for this event.
Following free services were provided during the event.
-Physician Consultations
-COVID testing
-COVID vaccines and boosters shots
-Flu shots
-Basic health screening and education
Islamic community center of Harvey Vice President Br. Iqbal Vohra and all participants were very happy and thankful to ICNA Relief and APPNA for organizing this health fair and everyone had an amazing time during the health fair.
-Friday November 12, 2021
APPNA/ICNA Relief mobile clinic free community health fair was held at Islamic Center of Greensboro, North Carolina.
53 People received free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, Temp check, HbA1C, Lipid Panel, and Physician Counseling.
Several uninsured participants were referred to their PCP due to abnormal test results for further follow up.
Masjid’s Imam, board members, and Participants were very thankful to ICNA Relief and APPNA for providing these valuable services for their community.
Saturday November 13, 2021 APPNA/ICNA Relief mobile clinic free community health fair was held at Jamaat Ibad Ar Rahman in Durham, North Carolina.
12 People received free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, Temp check, A1C, Lipid Panel, and Physician Counseling.
There was an on-site physician

Several uninsured participants were referred to their PCP due to abnormal test results for further follow up.

APPNA/ICNA Relief free community health fair and Covid19 vaccines distribution event was organized at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Denton, TX.
Free health screenings services including blood pressure, blood sugar, Lipid panel and BMI, were provided to the participants.
Covid19 vaccine booster, first, second doses and kids vaccines to 5-11 yrs were provided by volunteer pharmacist Neveen Nofal.
Physician consultation was provided by Dr. Khalid Syed and Dr. Jamal Mubarak.
Several participants with abnormal test results were referred to ICNA Relief free Medical clinic Dallas for further treatment and follow up.
Trinity Presbyterian Church Pastor Craig Hunter and Denton Masjid Imam Mohammed Fouad and local community members were very thankful to ICNA Relief & APPNA for providing free health screenings and Covid19 vaccines for kids, adults and elderly.

APPNA/ICNA Relief mobile clinic free community health fair was held in partnership with Uzbek community leaders. Event organized at Al Bukhary Islamic Center, Chicago, IL.
This event was very well attended and it was held during the Uzbek Bazaar.
Physicians, dentist and pharmacist were present on site to provide the following services.
1- Physician consultations
2- Dentist consultations 3- COVID vaccines and boosters shots
3- Flu shots
4- Basic health screening and education.
On-site physician consultation was provided by Dr Samina Hijab (president APPNA IL chapter) and Dr. Amin Nadeem (past President APPNA IL chapter) along with Medical students Mohamed and Adam as well as Dr. Rafi Dentist and Dr. Hadia pharmacist
7 Volunteers participated in this event other than physicians, dentist and pharmacist.
President Brother Olim and all participants were very happy with the turn out and everyone had an amazing time during the health fair.
