Treadway Graphics was started in April 1987 as a graphics and printing business. Soon after, we also started selling promotional products to local customers. Promotional products soon became the principal part of our business.
In January 1992 Treadway Graphics was awarded a license to sell promotional products with the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) logo. In September 1993 the company was awarded a license to sell promotional products with the G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) logo.
By the end of 2002 Treadway Graphics was servicing over 10,000 customers for the D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. programs. We also published and distributed full color catalogs and had websites for both programs.
In December 2002 Treadway Graphics received word that its license with DARE America would not be renewed. In 2003 the company's started a new "alternative" program called Smart Choices. We currently hold a registered trademark for Smart Choices. This merchandise line has three original logo designs with anti-drug and violence messages. A line of SRO merchandise was added to compliment national program sales.
In July 2005 Treadway Graphics merged with Forrester Smith, located in Tampa Florida. In October 2006 Forrester Smith was purchased by Geiger, located in Lewiston Maine. Today we are part of the "Geiger Nation."
