Organizational Partner Spotlight
Postpartum Support International (PSI) is dedicated to increasing awareness about the emotional changes women experience during pregnancy and postpartum such as, depression, anxiety, obsessive symptoms, post-traumatic stress, and mood disorders. PSI has chapters worldwide including one in Georgia (PSI-GA), whose mission is to increase awareness, education, prevention, and treatment of perinatal mental health issues affecting individuals, their families, and support systems in Georgia. PSI-GA serves everyone in Georgia impacted by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including pregnant and postpartum individuals, their partners, families, and support systems.

Join PSI Georgia’s Chapter to create a place where all pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families, including those from underserved communities, have access to perinatal support, healthcare providers, education, and resources to improve overall well-being through advocacy, training, and increased awareness of perinatal mental health. Puppets and Social Emotional Development

Did you know that puppets are a wonderful tool to help children develop and practice social-emotional skills? Puppets are an age-appropriate toy that caregivers can use to model healthy social skills. They also allow kids to express their own emotions and practice communicating their feelings. In addition to these benefits, puppets help increase language and improve motor skills - and they're fun! Click on the puppet picture to learn how to make different types of puppets. Happy puppet-ing!
