Paper Plate Faces
Creative art is a great way to make a physical representation of emotions. A simple craft activity to help your littles learn about and discuss their emotions is to make paper plate faces depicting various emotions. These can be turned into masks, or you could attach a craft stick (or popsicle stick) to the bottom and turn them into puppets for kids to use during their dramatic play.
Items Needed:
- Paper Plates
- Crayons, Markers
- Craft Sticks (Popsicle Sticks)
- Glue

CDC's Developmental Milestones
Learn the Signs. Act Early.

Help Your Child Grow and Thrive by Monitoring Their Development!
From birth to 5 years, your child should reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act and move. Developmental Milestones are skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving "bye-bye." Tracking these important milestones can help you see if your child’s development is on track, or if they need extra support and intervention. Each age group lists milestones to look for in four different developmental domains: social and emotional development, language/communication, cognitive (learning, thinking, problem-solving) development, and movement/physical development.
