Dear Parent,
Sub: Bethelview Road GA Pre-K Application 2022 - 23
Welcome to Ivy League Academy and our GA Pre-K Application Process! This will be our 15th year of providing GA Pre-K program and we have done so with exceptional parent satisfaction to more than 2000 children. More than 90% of the incoming parents are through references. We encourage you to apply and learn more about the school.
Here are some important steps and notes:
- We start the GA Pre-K Application Process on Jan 17th, 2022. You can either come to the center and complete the form or download one provided below.
-
To be eligible, your child has to be 4 years old by September 1st, 2022, and you must be a Georgia State resident. Therefore, copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of GA residence will be required, for e.g. Utility Bill.
-
Spots are allocated based on a lottery, and not first come first serve.
- First lottery date is March 20th, 2022. We will inform if your child has been allocated a spot, or if the application has been waitlisted.
- After March 20th, we will continue to release open spots, by lottery to all those in the waitlist.
- There is no end date to apply for GA Pre-K, it is only a matter of open spots. You can apply anytime.
- Children who are already in our high 3 or 4 year old Prep program, automatically move up to GA Pre-K and are not required to go through the lottery process. Remaining spots are available for lottery.
- There is no Application or Tuition Fee for GA Pre-K.
- Parents pay only for food (Breakfast, Snacks & Lunch). For 2022-23 school year, given the staggering inflation, we are expecting approximately $140-$150/month for food.
-
Ivy League Academy does not allow outside food, in order to effectively manage various allergies and food preferences in the classrooms.
- Detailed information about the program, calendar, curriculum, orientation day, enrollment packet etc. will be provided to those who are allocated and accept the spot.
-
Please note, this is only an application process for the lottery. If you accept a spot, more information will be required at that time, to complete the final registration with the State.
- Rules and Regulations of Bright From The Start, the State agency that is responsible for funding the GA Pre-K, is applicable at all times.
You can download, print, complete, sign and email it back with your child's birth certificate and proof of residence. Please send only one email with all the documents.

Learning skills like number sense, math concepts and simple application of ideas will go a long way in helping your child gain significant foundation for elementary education. We will be using some of the best Math manipulatives, resources, technology and Kumon (R) books to introduce key concepts.

Reading is one of the most important skills which will have a life long impact. We will be strongly encouraging beginner and Lexile Level based reading. Apart from classroom reading, children will be given beginner books and fun scholastic newsletter at no extra cost for parents to enjoy reading with their child. Advanced readers can also borrow books at a higher Lexile Level. Children will be rewarded when they read books, so that they are further encouraged!

Field trips are fun and existing for children! Most importantly they provide an opportunity for them to learn how things work in the real world. At Ivy League we organize multiple field trips to places such as a farm, library, food place and nature trail. We also bring guest speakers to school such as police officer, fire marshal, recycling advisor, tooth fairy and musician. Please note, we may have Covid 19 restrictions for field trips.

We will be offering highly popular after school Pre-K Clubs such as Math & Science Club, Arts & Crafts Club, Ballet Club and Spanish Club. Each year we take a parent survey before finalizing the list of clubs. More than 30 Pre-K children attend these clubs each year.
