Compassion Project 2021
We had another great turnout this year for our Annual Compassion Project where we were able to provide turkeys, food, refreshments and other goodies to over 1,000 households from Broward and Miami-Dade
counties (including Homestead)!

Big thanks to CBT Technology Institute, Care Team Insurance and Financial Services, Sunshine Insurance Associates LLC, Carrabba's Italian Grill, TEMPDEV, Inc., The Prentice Foundation, Inc., and National Philanthropic Trust, The Suskind Foundation, Camillus House and Nationwide Apparel for their support and sponsorship and to all the individuals who generously gave of their time, talent and treasures!

We'd like to thank all those who supported Gang Alternative, Inc. for Give Miami Day, helping us raise $34,065! This helps support our faith-based youth programs, Youth Splash and Kid Splash. A huge thanks to our staff who worked extra hard as GA ambassadors for the campaign and helped us win
the Miami Foundation prize pool!

Grief and Loss Learning Session
As servant leaders one thing we know for sure is that no one can pour from an empty pitcher . With the Holiday Season approaching, we wanted to make sure we prioritized staff’s peace of mind and well-being so a Grief and Loss learning session was held on November 22nd.
Our in-house therapy team who operate under our Health and Wellness pillar of service, facilitated a session presenting signs, symptoms, trigger alerts and coping skills. We hope the information shared by our trained team of therapists, strengthened and encouraged our staff, and also made them more aware of the importance of caring for themselves so that can in turn, care for others.

Toy Giveaway
On Dec 15th and Dec 17th,
Gang Alternative, Inc. will be holding it’s Annual Toy Drive in Homestead, North Miami and Broward.
The toys will be distributed to child participants in all GA programs.

GA Staff Luncheon

On November 23rd, a luncheon was held for staff with music, contests, trivia with prizes and of course, a Thanksgiving feast.
GA staff came together to fellowship as a family by giving thanks for God's grace and favor and to share the spirit of Thanksgiving.
