| | FRN Contact Info Must Be Updated | | |
The FCC has announced that all Federal Registration Number (FRN) holders must update any changes to their FRN contact information within ten (10) business days. Failure to do so may result in fines of up to $1,000 per day until corrected.
This is especially important for broadcasters, as FRNs are required for all parties listed in ownership reports, including licensees, officers and directors, attributable owners, and parent or holding companies.
If contact details such as email, mailing address, or responsible contact change, they must be updated promptly in the FCC’s CORES system. Stations should review their FRN records and remind all applicable ownership parties to verify their information is current, and coordinate with counsel or consulting engineers as needed.

| | The Georgia Association of Broadcasters (GAB) is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 summer internship program. The GAB is hiring paid interns for a 10-week program where they will work an estimated 25 hours per week. Interns will assist in the planning and development of the GAB’s annual convention (GABCON); visit member stations to learn how the association can best serve its membership; and learn about the GAB's advocacy efforts. During this paid, 10-week program, interns will be a part of a dynamic, evolving association serving the broadcast industry. Interns must be willing to contribute to all day-to-day functions necessary to complete the mission of the GAB. Ideal candidates will exhibit initiative, creativity, digital aptitude, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing challenges facing traditional and digital broadcast media while engaging and networking with GAB members. | | GAB Partners with UGA Terry College for 2026 Economic Outlook Series | | |
The Georgia Association of Broadcasters was proud to once again partner with University of Georgia Terry College of Business for the 2026 Economic Outlook Series, which wrapped after stops in eight major markets across Georgia. Each event provided research-based forecasts on local, state, and national economic trends.
GAB President Randy Gravley noted that the series offers valuable insight for members while creating meaningful opportunities to connect face-to-face with broadcasters and university partners across the state. We’re grateful for another successful statewide series and the strong engagement from our members.
