Delivery is Key!
What can an opera singer teach an entrepreneur? How to deliver a killer pitch!
For entrepreneurs, being able to deliver your business pitch
on demand is the difference between life and death for your ideas. Pressure to perform. Nerves. These often prevent entrepreneurs from delivering their message in a way that emotionally connects with their investors. Building on the concepts of our February workshop "Mastering the Me Talk" which focused on crafting your personal pitch, this workshop will teach you the key concepts and tools of high pressure stage performances to deliver your message. Topics include: voice functionality and use; body posture and purposeful movement; and stage presence. We will also cover the real world challenges of how to deal with stage fright, how to connect to and manage your audience, how to prepare, and how to stay “fresh” when you’re pitching the same message again and again. GABC at the Ballet!
GABC members gathered for a special performance of Boston Ballet’s “Artifact“, an avant-garde spectacle choreographed by William Forsythe, known to our members as the former director of the Frankfurt Ballet. This incredible evening in Boston’s Opera House, included a private reception in the VIP Lounge prior to the performance. Guest enjoyed drinks and refreshments and were joined by Boston Ballet Artist, Dawn Atkins. Mingling graciously with our guests and gamely answering all our questions, she gave a personal viewpoint of the ballet itself and what it's like to be dancer in this ballet company. This was followed by the stunning performance, and a private back-stage tour. Photos and more HERE
