On March 8th, we celebrated International Women's Day and GABC board member Stephanie Oestreich (Chief Business Officer Galecta) and Henriette Fleischmann (Co-Founder hosta.ai) spoke on a panel consisting of six amazing speakers about Women in Leadership. The event was well attended and resonated well with all guests!
Have you tried to describe yourself in three emojis? It's not only a great icebreaker, it also, very naturally, connects biographical information with "storytelling". The power of storytelling was the topic of a recent March workshop presented by Jakob Scheitza. The workshop/presentation was initiated by the GABC Young Professionals and hosted at VentureLane. "We recall stories 22 times better than facts", said Jakob, as he led the particpants through a couple of hands-on exercises.

A German and the American Perspective on Transatlantic Trade

Confirmed Speakers:
-
Christoph Schemionek, President and CEO of the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT)
-
Werner Schnappauf, former Minister of State and former Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Committee of the BDI
-
Prof. Karl Kaiser, fellow at the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship at Harvard Kennedy School
