The power of storytelling was the topic of a recent March workshop presented by Jakob Scheitza. The workshop/presentation was initiated by the GABC Young Professionals and hosted at VentureLane. When German Chancellor Scholz visited Washington earlier this month, the US government's Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), a large subsidy program for the domestic economy, was also on the agenda. Europeans are concerned that it will put their exports at a severe disadvantage. But will it? We will discuss the myth and the reality around this program, and what effects it has had since its introduction and will likely have going forward, with a particular eye on the German economy.
