Excerpt: "Angelika Fretzen, COO and technology translation director at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, said researchers are concerned about traveling, whether to a conference or to visit their homes.
“We have a lot of postdocs coming from all over the world who want to do research here, and are fantastic,” said Fretzen, who is originally from Germany. “It's a big decision to go into another country anyway, but it's an even bigger decision if you're not sure that you can freely move and see your family back home or go to conferences and exchange in other countries with other scientists."

Excerpt: "A new coalition government is taking shape in Berlin, with chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz picking close allies and corporate executives for his cabinet to tackle Germany's economic malaise amid trade tensions and a surging far right.
Merz's conservative CDU/CSU bloc announced its nominees on Monday but the junior party in the incoming coalition, the centre-left Social Democrats (SPD), are not expected to name their candidates, including for the finance and defence ministries, until later."
| | | Arbeitsmarkt wächst stark – Trump will dennoch Zinssenkungen | |
