European Networking Event at Torno Subito in February
On February 6, 2025, we had the pleasure of co-hosting yet another exceptional European Networking Event on the rooftop terrace of the stylish Torno Subito, offering stunning views of Downtown Miami.
Together with our European partner organizations – the French-American Chamber of Commerce, Italian Chamber of Commerce, Spanish Chamber of Commerce, and the British American Business Council – we welcomed over 200 guests for an evening of international networking and cross-cultural exchange.
In a vibrant and elegant setting, attendees had the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, strengthen European collaboration in South Florida, and build valuable new business relationships.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening such a success – we look forward to seeing you at the next one!

On March 20, 2025, we had the honor of attending a special reception hosted by German Consul General Christopher Burger in Miami. The evening’s distinguished guest was Dr. Joachim Nagel, President of the German Bundesbank, who delivered a compelling and well-received speech.
Dr. Nagel highlighted Germany’s strategic investment plans, including €500 billion allocated to an infrastructure fund, aiming to modernize and future-proof the nation’s economy. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening resilience and security, announcing an additional €500 billion in defense spending.
The speech provided valuable insights into Germany’s current economic and geopolitical priorities and was met with great interest by all attendees.
We sincerely thank Consul General Burger for the kind invitation and the opportunity to connect with key figures from both the political and business communities.

Important Update: New Membership Fees Effective May 1, 2025
We greatly appreciate your continued support of the German American Business Chamber (GABC) and want to take a moment to highlight the incredible value the membership brings. After holding our annual dues steady for more than 15 years, the GABC Board has made the decision to adjust our membership fees starting May 1, 2025, to ensure we can continue providing the high-quality services, events, and opportunities you’ve come to expect.
The good news? GABC remains one of the most affordable bi-national chambers of commerce for a European country. Your membership gives you access to exclusive networking events, business luncheons, cocktail receptions, speaker seminars, and monthly Stammtisch meetups—all at no cost or reduce cost to members. We also regularly host European networking events, fun social gatherings, and expert presentations. Members benefit from free job postings, free advertising in our newsletters, and the opportunity to share their news with our growing network of 8,000+ contacts in South Florida and beyond.
Depending on your membership level, you also receive free event tickets (Private: 1 / Business: up to 3 / Corporate: up to 5 / Trustee: up to 10), which can be used for colleagues, employees, or spouses.
The new annual membership fees will be:
- Individual/Private: $190
- Business: $375
- Corporate: $650
- Trustee: $950
There’s nothing you need to do—the new fee structure will automatically apply upon your next renewal if it occurs after May 1, 2025.
We’ve also added a convenient automatic renewal feature, so you no longer have to manually re-enter your membership details each year. Two reminder emails will be sent in advance of your renewal, and if you choose not to continue, you may easily opt out.
