The art activities that are depicted here are part of our Evening and Weekend Program. Over the past months, they have contributed mightily to the on-going rejuvenation of the Grand Avenue Club community, as have our Work-Ordered Day, our Employment Program, and the recent recruitment of new members.
We remain committed to our mission of enhancing the lives of Milwaukee County adults who have experienced mental illness.

Above: Yesterday evening, October 13, 16 members and staff who are part of the Grand Avenue Club Art Collective visited an extraordinary art exhibit,
"BEYOND Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience " at the Wisconsin Center.
Ricardo Hernandez, Art Collective Member had this to say about the exhibit: "I've never done anything like this before. It was amazing. I would like to do this again and I look forward to all the new experiences that GAC continues to introduce me to. This exhibit made me feel happy for the first time in a very long time."
Nikki J. has this to say: "The Van Gogh was unlike anything I have ever experienced before. Because of the GAC Art Collective, I have done many new things that have enriched my life. I have also made many friends and have a reason to leave my house. My quality of life is wonderful now."
