German American Executive Summit


The inaugural German American Executive Summit took place last week in Orlando, Florida, hosted by all five German American Chambers of Commerce. The event brought together executives and professionals from Germany and the U.S. to discuss trade, investment, and business opportunities. Our speakers included Robert McGee from Bank of America, who provided an economic update, and Andreas Michaelis, the German Ambassador to the U.S., who addressed tariffs, geopolitical shifts, and energy challenges, emphasizing Germany’s strong investment presence in the U.S.


The summit concluded with the German American Business Awards Dinner, honoring exceptional German companies in the U.S. Award winners included OERTZENGroup for Excellence in Services, CMBlu Energy for Excellence in Innovation, HEYCO Werk USA Inc. for Excellence in Economic Development, HARTING Technology Group for Excellence in Community Engagement, and Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation for The Coolest German Thing Made in the U.S.
