The Global Automotive and Mobility Innovation Challenge recommends automotive innovators and technology leaders to submit Abstracts for the 2023 SAE WCX.


SAE CALL EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 7, 2022


SAE International’s WCX is the premier global automotive technical conference and exhibition focused on virtually every facet of modern automotive mobility, including platform, system, subsystem, and component research & development, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, test and verification, certification, integration, deployment, maintenance, and continued safety, security, and sustainability. 

 

Innovators and thought-leaders from across the global automotive community convene annually at WCX to share the latest technical knowledge and innovations, discuss real-world challenges and practical solutions, discover new technologies and techniques, uncover trends and opportunities, and network, problem-solve, and partner.


Harness this opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and thought leadership by presenting your latest work, sharing your knowledge, and networking and collaborating with engineers, executives, regulators, researchers, scientists, academia, and other key decision makers from across the global automotive ecosystem.

 

Abstract submissions are invited for the following WCX Technology Tracks:

  • Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • Body / Chassis / Occupant and Pedestrian Safety /Structure

  • Military Ground Vehicles
  • Emissions / Sustainability / Thermal Management
  • Materials and Light weighting
  • Motorsports Engineering

 

Abstracts must be submitted online via SAE Website page to only ONE session.

 

Offered papers shall not have been previously published; and if accepted, contributors will not release their paper for publication through other media.

  • Paper acceptance will be based on organizer moderated peer review of a review ready manuscript.
  • Refer to the author resources site at volunteers.sae.org/authors.htm for other useful information in preparing your paper.
  • Deadline for submitting paper offers 10/07/2022
  • Review Ready Manuscripts due to session organizers 10/25/2022

SAE SAMPLE PAPER 

Huntington Place is the 16th largest convention center in the United States. Built by the City of Detroit, it was originally opened in 1960 and named Cobo Hall in honor of former Detroit Mayor Albert E. Cobo (1950-1957).In 2021, the venue name was changed to Huntington Place. Today, the center hosts conferences, conventions and tradeshows bringing 1.5 million visitors a year from across the globe to Detroit.
