On Monday October 16th, we're bringing together the regional leaders shaping the vision of transportation and more than $6.7 billion in redevelopment projects to revitalize our core. This event at the Baltimore Convention Center from 1-5 PM will help our members, partners, entrepreneurs, investors, local chambers, and media representatives hear about:


  • Amtrak's $150 million makeover of Baltimore's Penn Station
  • Red Line and Transit-Oriented Development Efforts
  • Inner Harbor Redevelopment's Engagement Results
  • Transformative visions for the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, Reginald F. Lewis Museum, Horseshoe Casino, Baltimore Convention Center, and the Orioles Stadium and adjacent sites.


All on one stage. Governor Wes Moore, Mayor Brandon Scott, and USDOT Assistant Secretary of Transportation Policy Christopher Coes will offer remarks.

Tuesday October 17th is the last day to submit for the 49th Annual Mayor's Business Recognition Awards

The 49th Annual Mayor’s Business Recognition Awards will recognize three winners in each of the following categories, one for small, medium and large companies:


  • Economic opportunity: a business or organization that has taken innovative approaches to hiring local or supporting small business opportunities.
  • Ambassador for Baltimore Region: recognizing a business or organization at celebrates our city and region.
  • Local investment: a business or organization that is investing heavily in the city and region creating jobs, capital investment to grow our economy.
  • Supporting safe and vibrant communities: a business or organization investing in safe and cleaner communities.
  • Community redevelopment: a business or organization driving redevelopment of underserved communities.
