Pamela Frechette -
Thank You for your friendship and years of service in our Tourism industry

|
Pamela Frechette retired on February 6, 2020 following a 28-year career with the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau. Pamela was the Bureau’s Director of Visitor Marketing, overseeing seasonal marketing campaigns, advertising buys, and special promotions such as Dine Out Boston. She played a primary role in the Bureau’s seasonal publications –
Boston Overnight
and
Summer in the City
– and as this content went from print publication to digital she led that transition. Pam was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the City of Boston - Congratulations Pam and we wish you all the best!

Martha J. Sheridan Elected to Serve as Chair of the Advisory Commission on Travel and Tourism (ACT&T)

Martha J. Sheridan has been elected to serve as Chair of the Advisory Commission on Travel and Tourism (ACT&T). Vice Chair-Elect is Nancy Gardella, Executive Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce. ACT&T is comprised of 30 private and public organizations. The commission develops marketing strategies and recommendations for the promotion of travel and tourism in Massachusetts. Martha follows the legendary Tom Kershaw in this role. Tom will now be ACT&T Chair Emeritus and on behalf of the entire industry we thank him for outstanding leadership and vision over the years.
