WEDC Awards $5.6M Tax Credit
Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) approved up to $5.6 million in performance-based tax credits to assist Charter Next Generation with $270 million in investments that will create more than 340 jobs statewide over the next eight years. CNG is a major producer of flexible films for packaging.

Sustainable Forestry Conference
The 18th Annual Sustainable Forestry Conference was held Wednesday, April 19, at the Keyes Peak Ski Lodge, Florence, WI. This year’s conference had a variety of interesting topics with a diverse group in attendance including logging businesses, forestry, land management, economic development and other related resources and associations. GBIG was one of the conference sponsors. Marty Ochs was one of the conference presenters.
