As I look back at The Wisconsin Economic Future Study from June 17, 2013, it stated that the Wisconsin economy is old-growth industries. Wisconsin, it says, is powered mainly by manufacturing industries that often date back more than a century. The state lacks in innovation and technology. Well today, the Printing, Converting, Packaging and supporting manufacturing industries are world leaders in innovation.

The NEW Manufacturing Alliance will recognize the Excellence in Mfg./K-12 Partnership Award winners at a dinner on Oct. 25 at the Resch Expo, Green Bay.
