December is a time to reset. We will be reinforcing schoolwide and classroom expectations. Please help us by talking to your student regarding finishing this semester strong.
We are here if you need support. As we near the holidays it is important that we acknowledge families that might be hurting or are in need. If you would like to sign up for our food pantry or need some assistance during the holidays please reach out to us. We are so excited about all of our upcoming Dine Out events, thank you so much to the Beacon Family Group members of the Financial Committee for your incredible efforts to raise funds for our school. Help us stock our food pantry! As the weather turns colder, COVID precautions endure, and we head into the two week long break, it is vital that we continue to provide for our families in need. Please consider a donation to our food pantry! 

All food donations can be dropped off at a safe, drive-thru style service at GBMS on Monday, December 6 between 4-5pm in front of the GBMS main entrance. Monetary donations can be made by visiting www.bnsk12.org/donate You can also purchase items to be delivered directly to the school through our Amazon Wish List.

Fundraising

We are excited that Birdcall has included Beacon Network Schools in their Drive for 35 school fundraisers! On Tuesday, December 7 and Tuesday, January 4 Birdcall will donate 35% of sales using our promo code back to Beacon Network Schools! You can order online, dine in, drive through, and/or take out. Remember to use the promo code “Beacon” when you place your order! 
Winter Showcase

Please join us next week on the GBMS blacktop for the 2021 Winter Elective & Enrichment Celebration! Bundle up for a winter festival style event to meet our Electives team, speak to Community Providers, and see what our students have created and learned during their elective and enrichment classes this semester. Enrichments

Enrichment Selections for Quarter 3 begin next week! Students will be able to use their Liveschool points on Tuesday, December 7 to purchase early sign up at lunch. The sign up sheets will open for everyone on Wednesday, December 8, students will have time in their advisory and/or PL time to sign up!
GBMS Yard Signs are here!

School Choice season is upon us! You can help us encourage your neighbors to consider a Beacon Network School for their middle school learners by placing a GBMS Yard Sign at your home. You can pick one up today from the main office! Thank you for helping families make a Beacon School their number one choice!
Athletics

The flag football team did not win this year's playoffs but they have played a great season, make sure to congratulate them! And thank you Olivia J. for this beautiful photo! Basketball tryouts took place this week and the final team rosters will be announced next week.

Roundup River Ranch Camp

Roundup River Ranch offers old-fashioned, pure fun camp experiences for children with serious illnesses and their families. Roundup River Ranch is always free of charge for all kids and their families. Registration is Open!
