Glenmore Fall Festival - Mark Your Calendar

The Glenmore Fall Festival is rapidly approaching! Mark your calendars to meet at the Glenmore Sports Field on 27 October!

Dust off your beach chair and gather the family for a morning of fun at our newly improved facilities. The festivities begin at 9 AM with pumpkin painting for the wee ones and other Fall inspired activities for all ages. This day is a wonderful opportunity to meet neighbors and try out the newly installed Horse Shoe, Bocce Ball, Corn Hole and Volleyball games, or cheer them on from the new bleachers.

Fresh hot coffee, juice, water and breakfast fare will be provided from 9:30 AM till 11:30 AM. We hope you’ll join us to mingle and have some fun with your friends and neighbors. See you there.

Date: Saturday, October 27th
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Paper Shredder at the Fall Festival
As part of the Glenmore Fall Festival, the GCA will sponsor a paper shredding event for Glenmore residents. Bring your important and confidential papers to the Glenmore Fall Festival and have your papers securely shredded while you watch.
The hours for shredding are 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The shredder is for personal papers (e.g., old tax returns, bank records, medical records, etc), and can handle paper clips, small alligator clips, and staples. Remove papers from ring binders before shredding. This shredding event is not for large business related paper destruction. Gather up all your old records, clean out your files and have them securely destroyed while you wait. And enjoy our Glenmore Fall Festival celebration. Jot it down ... 27 October at the Sports Field.
Free Flying Lessons
Hello from the Rivanna Radio Control Club!
On Saturday 29 September from 10 AM to 2 PM the Club will be holding our 8 th Annual Don Reid Memorial Fly-In. The attached flyer provides most of the details such as free flying lessons and free barbecue lunch. We will also be providing free small flying model airplanes and we'll help the kids to build and test fly them. Although several of our members are Glenmore residents; we hope many more will join us for this event and see what we, as your neighbors, are all about.
