GCA Spring Clean-up
4 March 2022

Dear GCA member,

Spring is just around the corner

GCA Board of Directors
Spring Limb and Twig Pick-up - 7 March
Due to the January storm, we're scheduling the spring limb and twig pick-up a month early. All branches should be placed within 1 foot of the curb by 7 a.m. on 7 March with the cut end toward the street. No stumps, dirt, trash, or other yard debris will be collected. Anyone living near a GCA Common Area is invited to bring fallen branches to the curb.

If your material is not picked up on day one, not to worry, it will take about a week to finish the Glenmore circuit. Remember, there is only one pass per residence and Common Area, so please be ready! And make sure the branches are placed within a foot of the curb.
Glenmore ... we need your help
The January snowstorm was the most devastating storm event in Glenmore since the 2012 derecho. Trees were down everywhere especially pine trees. We know that our Glenmore residents had plenty of tree damage, and as a result we moved the annual GCA spring limb and twig pick-up date from April to March.

We also had extensive damage to our trails and common areas. Here is where we need your help. We are asking our members to assist in clearing loose branch and limb debris from the common areas adjacent to your property. We're not asking you to cut any limbs or branches, just move loose debris up to the curb prior to 7 March. Also, if you walk our trails, please move debris (do not cut limbs or branches) from the path (there is no need to bring it to the street).

We realize that in time, limbs and branches will naturally decompose, however in the short term the downed trees and limbs are unsightly, and the pine trees are a tinder risk. Any help from our Glenmore neighbors would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and please be careful!
