Head of School Message
Our school year begins with unique and unprecedented circumstances yet with the same faithful and steadfast anchor that has defined GCA throughout our 40 years of existence. Because of God’s unchanging faithfulness and perfect love, we begin the year in confidence.

The confidence we cling to is dependent on God’s word and the great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us. The famous hymn penned by Thomas Chisholm in the early 1900s, reflects this confidence.

“Great is Thy faithfulness O God, my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not; As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness, To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!"

The hymn's first verse is a simple expression of God's unchanging faithfulness, based on Lamentations 3:22 (KJV): "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not."

Verse two continues with an expression of God's faithfulness to us in the natural world He created—the changing of the seasons, the movements of the celestial bodies—all joining together in praise to their Creator.

The hymn culminates in the final verse with the testimony of peace that comes through redemption, God's abiding presence in our daily lives, and the blessed hope of heaven.

The refrain echoes the infinite faithfulness of God to extend mercy and compassion: "They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:23, KJV).

Together as the GCA community we praise God that we proceed into this new school year confidently knowing and depending on the Lord’s perfect faithfulness.

Soli Deo Gloria

In the middle of a global pandemic when normal has been redefined. The world is in a time unlike any other in history when political, racial, and economic tensions are heightened and no answers seemingly exist.

We believe in the truth in the words of Jesus from John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

In this year of the 40th graduating class of Glenmore Christian Academy. We will continue to hold onto the One in whom we have been, are and will always be ROOTED. We will continue to remain in the One who is before us, with us and ahead of us.

Join us in prayer as we dive into all that God has for us this 2020-2021 school year!
