A Note from Keith
It's been another fantastic summer at GCC, with significant Clubhouse events, exciting championships, outstanding member-guest outings, and non-stop fun at the pool. The end-of-season Lobster Bake was a huge success and enjoyed by all; the Short Bus is always a member favorite! We bid farewell to our seasonal summer staff and thank them for all their hard work this summer.
The pool is open for one last weekend on Saturday, September 9th, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The last Adult Lap Swim for the season will be on Wednesday, September 13th. The seasonal pool maintenance and full closure begin Thursday, September 14th. A big thank you to our Aquatics Team and Seasonal Committee for creating an unforgettable summer season at the pool filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
As we slowly transition to the Fall schedule, please note that the last outdoor Sunday barbeque will be on September 24th. Afterward, Sunday dinner service will be held in 1892 with a modified, family-friendly menu. We're also bringing back Bingo & Buffet on the first Sunday of each month. The Bowling Alley will re-open on Saturday, September 23rd, and we eagerly anticipate the return of Skeet & Trap season this Fall.
Paddle season will begin on Sunday, Sept. 24th, with a newly refreshed interior space in the Paddle Hut stemming from 2023 approved capital project funding. Our GCC Design & Décor Committee worked with Celerie Kemble of Kemble Interiors to create a warm and welcoming design for the membership and guests.
The Golf Learning Center contractors are finishing up final construction and technology placement, and we excitedly look forward to announcing the opening in the coming weeks.

GCC's internships present unique opportunities to combine the many benefits of life abroad with real-world, hands-on experience in future career fields and develop professional proficiencies through immersion in a new culture. This unique combination of personal and professional growth can make an internship a life-changing experience that does far more than boost a resume. Please be sure to introduce yourself and welcome these team members to GCC.
I look forward to seeing you at the Club soon!

Angela has worked in the hospitality industry for the last decade, managing events ranging from small, intimate dinners to large-scale, 1,500+ attendee events for high net-worth companies and clientele, as well as nonprofit organizations.
Raised in a large Italian family, she recognized early on that great food had a magical way of bringing people together. Now, Angela’s "above and beyond" approach, combined with innovation, patience, and constant communication, gives our members undivided attention to create magical events right here at GCC.
Angela joined GCC in May of 2023 and oversees GCC events. She is collaborating with Chef Alejandro and the Food & Beverage team to re-imagine personalized private event packages.
Once the Director of Events role has been filled, Angela will work closely to support this position and continue bringing high energy and dedication to all members and guests to create a truly memorable experience.
Welcome, Angela!
