In a continued effort to further the Project's engineering efforts, Eversource contractors continue to conduct field tests along the proposed Project routes. This activity typically is performed using an excavator and vacuum truck to dig small trenches and determine the location of existing underground utilities. Areas are then backfilled and restored.

The following is an update on locations in Cambridge:

• Broadway - off of the public roadway (Upcoming)
• Linskey Way - between Third Street and Second Street (Complete)

*Over the next several months crews will be at various locations along the proposed project routes in Cambridge as well as in Somerville and Allston/Brighton. Locations will be promoted to nearby property owners in advance of new activities commencing.

Work Hours

• Typical construction hours field test activities are Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some work may be conducted outside of these hours based on traffic volumes and will require municipal approval.
