First Light Prayer

"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed." Mark 1:35

The church will be open every Friday morning, from 5:30am- 7:30am for anyone who desires some time of quiet prayer with the living God. No agenda- just sitting at His feet in worship and seeking stillness before the Lord.

We're excited to announce that GCF will be partnering with

Samaritan's Purse through Operation Christmas Child!

This is a wonderful ministry where we fill shoeboxes with small gifts, school supplies, and personal care items that are then sent to children all over the world. Each box becomes a tangible expression of God's love, opening the door for the Gospel to be shared with children and their families.

This is more than just a box of toys- it's an opportunity to bless a child, show them the love of Christ, and be part of God's mission to the nations. We invite everyone in our church family to take part in packing a shoebox and helping us spread joy and hope this Christmas season.

More details on how to participate will be shared in the coming weeks- so be prayerful, get ready, and let's join together in this beautiful ministry.

Boxes will be ready for pickup- Sunday, October 5th

Boxes are due back by Thursday, November 20th

Step into Shoetober Drive with us!

We are partnering with Clothes to Kids in their annual Shoetober Drive to collect new and gently used shoes. Clothes for Kids is a local organization that provides new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis school-age children, free of charge.

How can you help?

1. Pray for the children and their families
2. Go through your closet for shoes ranging from children size 10- adult size 10 (sneakers are always needed)
3. Go shopping.
4. Bring the shoes to GCF and place them in the Shoetober bins by October 31st.

No time to shop? No problem!

You may also donate cash or check to GCF and mark your gift as Shoetober- GCF will shop for you!

Trunk or Treat is HERE!

THIS Sunday, October 26th 

6:00-8:00pm

(Set up at 5pm)

Our next monthly gathering as a church family will be on October 26th for our community outreach “Trunk or Treat.”

This is a wonderful opportunity to show our neighbors (who might be intimidated by church) that we are a welcoming place and are here for them. 

Please mark your calendars, start brainstorming trunk/costume ideas, invite your friends, and stock up on bags of candy as you can. 

Let's beat last year's number of participating cars! 

Our goal this year is to have over 40 cars! We need your help! 

If you are stumped or intimidated with trunk decorating- please see Debbie for ideas and assistance. 

As you are planning your costumes and decorations please be mindful of keeping it fun, family friendly and honoring to the Lord. Please avoid anything spooky, scary, gory, or un-God like in nature.

We will need volunteers for this event!

For- our food tent, our prayer tent, and candy runners. The sign up sheet will be available this Sunday!

Women's Bible Study

A study in Proverbs

Wednesdays @ 7pm

This is a beautiful opportunity to grow in wisdom, strengthen our faith, and build lasting friendships with one another. We'd love for every woman to join us- whether you've been with us for years or are brand new to Bible study.

Come ready to open your Bible, your heart, and your life to the Lord's teaching through Proverbs. Let's seek God's wisdom together and watch how He transforms us from the inside out.

Men's Bible Study
