World Heritage Night

Spring is approaching fast, and it is the time of the year when Marshall's annual tradition of celebrating cultures across the world happens. This year, the World Heritage Night will be on Friday, March 1st at 6:30 pm

Please sign up to share your culture with the Marshall community by signing up to bring food, encouraging your child to sign up to participate in the Talent Show, or sharing your culture via an activity. We are also looking for parent volunteers to pick up food from restaurants, help us set up, and clean up after the event.

Counselors & Custodians Appreciation Day

Join us in celebrating some of our unsung heroes of Marshall High School - our incredible counselors and custodians/building engineers!

The Hospitality Team is gearing up for two luncheons to express our heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes. Our Guidance Counselors are busy registering students for next year and holding orientations at local middle schools. Our custodial staff and building engineers work hard to keep Marshall spotless and safe. Please help us make this event successful by donating drinks and candies or providing a monetary donation. Your contribution will allow us to show gratitude to our counselors and custodians.

To contribute, simply Venmo @GCMPTSA and write "Hospitality" in the comments so we can direct your funds to these events, or click on the SignUp Genius link below.

Big News!
Han Nguyen's (Junior) autobiographical play “It Doesn’t End in Nebraska” swept the VHSL judges votes with four #1 rankings (that rarely happens) and Marshall won the District round! Han Nguyen also won the Festival’s Best Actor award - AND Sharon Cho (Senior) was named to the All-Star cast awards!
Marshall moves on to the Regionals this week.
Wednesday February 7th from 5:30 - 8:30pm @ Marshall
Marshall's time slot is 7:45pm
Four schools will be competing.
Let’s pack the house and send this show to States!

Support the Statemen Theatre

The Statesmen Theatre Boosters depend on the generosity of members of the Marshall Community, families, and friends of students involved in our productions. Your donations support our award-winning student theatre program by covering the cost of our yearly shows, which cost approximately $35,000. In addition, it funds professional musicians who assist with productions, equipment for set productions, costumes, props, and much more. Your contribution will help us continue to provide quality theatre productions and support our students' artistic endeavors. Please donate today and support the Statesmen Theatre Boosters.

BUILDING COMMUNITY:

Why is the auction so important? It raises necessary funds to keep ANGC ticket prices low so that ALL SENIORS are able to attend this amazing and safe celebration with their classmates. The event is sponsored by the PTSA and is typically attended by 75% of the senior class.

Please donate an item (or two or three!) from your business and/or family (or perhaps a holiday gift that wasn't on our list!) for ANGC’s biggest fundraiser.

Donate Auction Items Need some other ideas?? We will gladly accept sports/event tickets, memorabilia, a bottle of your favorite wine, art, jewelry, decorative items, themed gift baskets, gift cards of any sort (McDonald's Starbucks, Chipotle, etc.), experiences, services like individual or group lessons, camps, practical help like painting, handyman, landscaping…the sky’s the limit!

We could also use some help asking local businesses for donations. Contact Valerie Sayd if interested.

As always, thank you for your support!
